Date Night With Giraffe

So this morning I got woken up by some noises from my baby Joy..I was a little frustrated because i was still tired..But before i rolled myself out of bed i listened more closely..Those noises werent cries or even her mad noises ..It was her happy cooing noises..She sounded like she was talking up a storm...I woke chad up and we listened to her as she made these loud cooing noises..I couldnt believe she was awake and actually playing in her crib...she is only two months old....So as i got more curious as to what she was doing i rolled out of bed and quietly entered her room..I found my sweet baby out of her little bumpers she sleeps in and at the very top of her crib talking it up with her stuffed giraffe!!! It was the cutest thing i think i have ever seen!!! I went and grabbed chad so he could see our baby girl on her first date haha..I just had to grab my camera to document this!! Then we took her and put her back in her bumpers and she still wanted the giraffe so she reached for him...It was adorable!!!! OH the Joys lol of motherhood!! haha!

feeling human again!!!

so Joy slept 7 hours this past friday!!! i couldnt believe it!! i actually got some sleep it was nuts..  but i knew this couldnt possibly be the start of a routine....but then on saturday night...she did it again!!!!!!!!!!! i can only be hopeful!..

Joy and Melayna!!

Well last saturday my brother Ryan and his wife Charity and their daughter Melayna came to see me!! It was soo much fun!! Right when I opened the door and was holding Joy little Melayna who is 2 years old said "BABY JOY!!!!!!" she was soo happy and excited to see her!! She asked me if she could hold her, so ryan held Joy and Melayna helped!! It was soo cute to see them together! Melayna couldnt stop looking at her and Joy just stared at Melayna with amazement!! I know they are going to be best friends someday! 

craziness!!

soooo baby went to sleep last night at like 7 and woke up at 10..i was ok with that!! but!! she wouldnt go back to sleep!! soo here comes 2 am and i am still awake with my SWEET baby!! and as we are in the chair rocking together i heard gun shots!! wow i just love where i live!! and then finally she goes to sleep and as i crawl like a zombie in bed at 2:30 am i look out the window where i see cops!!! it was just great! so my sweet slumber was ruined by anxiety of getting killed by some crazy gun man!! but...i woke up this morning bright and early at 5 am to a screaming hungry baby..soo yess it was true i had survived the night..even though i felt like death lol.Chad at least got some sleep but still acts like a robot..the other night i crawled into bed and he sat up and started to look through the blankets saying "where is Joy where is Joy i know she is in here"..and i was like mmm hunny she is in her crib and then he went back to sleep!! haha maybe he needs to work on getting more sleep! he is acting a bit crazy!!.but today chad and i are gettin a pumpkin and doing some fun halloween activites!! soo all i can say is...Bring it on!!

Oct 19th!! one month!

I can't believe my sweet baby is already one month old!! Where did the time go!!! I have already been pooped on, spit up on, peed on, I mean what more can happen!! lol But she really is amazing.. She already has a little personality and makes tons of different kinds of faces, she just cracks me up!! I love being a mom!
